Carolyn Brann is an abstract painter, who works predominantly with oil based paints, combining gold, aluminum, and copper leaf. She integrates daily Vedic meditation in her studio practice to induce imagery often found her work. Carolyn’s paintings are both contemplative and intuitive reflections of the artist’s relationship with the natural world. She is interested in the place where art, music, nature, and human behavior intersect. Her paintings are a dialogue with these chance encounters. This will be Carolyn’s first year with us at Hotels/Motels (Unofficial Art Fair), and we are excited to have her! Her proposed hotel room transformation will be an experience not to be missed!
