Edwin Nutting studied painting, drawing, and metal sculpture at the San Francisco Academy of Art, San Francisco Institute of Art, and Grossmont College. Over the past 30 years, he has refined the complex drawing and painting processes he works in. Mediums such as acrylic, airbrush painting, ink drawings, and water media. The artist is notable for his daily illustrative renderings, of personal, and sometimes political topics of the day. These small, visual notations, are a more progressive an unencumbered extension of his work as a Social Illustrator-(Stink) for the Union Tribune. His drawings have been published in Rolling Stone Magazine, and for band’s such as The Penetrators, The Beat Farmers, Joey Harris, DFX2, Comanche Moon, The Pleasure Barons, Candye Kane, Mojo Nixon, Artwork and Direction for Country Dick Montana’s “The Devil Lied To Me”. Edwin is a Hotels/Motels (Unofficial Art Fair) alumni artist.
