Grace Gray-Adams received a B.A and M.F.A in Sculpture from SDSU and has been teaching Art and Computer Graphics at MiraCosta, Grossmont and Southwestern Colleges for almost 20 years. Gray-Adams was trained in traditional figurative sculpture and now specializes in expressing feminist foundational beliefs through multimedia tableau-style installations. Her work also engages spiritual concerns, through performance art and interactive environments. In her most recent exhibition “Visualize Grace”, the artist converted an empty bedroom into an angelic encounter with faith. This will be Grace’s first year with us at Hotels/Motels (Unofficial Art Fair).
“I create art to give voice to the soul within me and I exhibit art to shatter my invisibility and to be heard.” – Gray-Adams |
