Nicole Deline is a sculptor, furniture builder and crafts-person. She works in architecture and design at her company Studio Deline and has a studio in Barrio Logan where she also teaches welding. Nicole’s passions lie in building, not designing alone. She loves to have tools in her hand to actually be apart of the execution.
Nicole began her career in art, obtaining an undergraduate degree from San Diego State in fine art with an emphasis in sculpture. She went on to work for herself in the field of interior finishes while accepting sculpture commissions of varying scales as they came. She decided it was time to go back to school for her MFA and earned a Masters of Architecture from the Newschool of Architecture and Design 2007. She also taught metal sculpture at the UCSD Crafts Center for eight years. After they were shut down Nicole began the search for a studio where she could start her own classes. |
