Artist/Curator Submissions
2018

 December 14 & 15

Hotels/Motels (Unofficial Art Fair 2018), presents emerging and established contemporary artists who are working in a wide-range of media and disciplines. Artists and curators from all over San Diego and Los Angeles will transform hotel rooms into galleries, stages, and project spaces.
Hotels/Motels (Unofficial Art Fair 2018), provides artists with an affordable environment not unlike a contemporary art fair, to exhibit and place their work to a broader patronage. Our artists create new relationships with curators, dealers, collectors, and art professionals. They will not only profit on 100% sale of their work in the short term, but make long term relationships, and establish a quality mailing list. This “unofficial art fair” is a low cost debut for many artists to the art fair format. It is a platform to experiment and consider investing in larger, "official" art fairs, such as the stARTup Art Fair, Art San Diego, and the Affordable Art Fair. Hotels/Motels is a rewarding investment for artists, a great community builder, and as many would attest, it's a lot of fun!
