• The Artist in Residence Program at Pond Farm (Austin Creek State Recreation Area in Northern CA)
Deadline: 02/01/25
The residency offers artists the opportunity to create and explore in a rural, rustic natural setting, away from the familiar contexts and constraints of daily routine.
Once accepted, there is a fee of $500 for the three-week, onsite living residency. The Julia Terr Fellowship supports residencies for and gives priority to artists from historically marginalized groups (including Asian, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, LGBTQ+, people from low-income or working-class families, and people whose parents have not had the benefits of a college education). The goal of the fellowship program is to welcome diverse artists and writers to work on specific projects or investigate new areas of interest. The Julia Terr Fellowship underwrites the $500 fee for these artists and in addition provides a stipend of $400 to help cover food and travel expenses.

- Compensation: The selected Artist will be awarded studio residence in the Broad Education Gallery at Blue Line Arts for three weeks from Friday, September 5th to Friday, September 26th 2025. The selected Artist shall receive an Honoraria of $10,000 that will be paid directly to the Artist as follows: 25% upon arrival and 75% upon departure. The selected artist shall receive a total per diem (for food, etc) in the amount of $1,470.

Juried competition featuring digital art and photography. Entrants submit three JPEG files of original work. All styles of artwork and photography where digital processes of any kind were integral to the creation of the images are acceptable. Video stills are acceptable. The selected winner receives 10 prints up to 44x60 inches on canvas or museum quality paper (approximately a $2,500-$3,000 value) to be shown in a solo exhibition in our main gallery. The exhibit will be widely promoted and will include a reception for the artist.
Second place prizes: Ten second place winners will receive one print of their work up to 24x36 inches ($150-$200 in value) to be included in the winners' exhibits and opening.

The District is seeking SOQs to create a pool of qualified artists to provide the design, creation, and installation
of a prominent public art project on the exterior façade of the new Performance Art Center. For this project, CAPS is specifically seeking the design, creation, and installation of a prominent public art
project on the exterior façade of the new Performance Art Center. This public art installation may be created
from any materials of the artist’s, or artist team’s, choosing that can endure complete exposure to the elements.
Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional elements are feasible, along with electrical lighting, neon signage,
sound features, landscaping elements, and/or other interactive components.
• Crocker Art Museum Art Auction Season 2025 – Sacramento (no fee)

Art Auction includes the online Silent Auction and the in-person Live Auction on Saturday, June 7. Works are included in the Art Auction exhibition that will be on view in the Museum from May 15 – June , as well as the Art Auction catalogue, and artists may choose to keep up to 50% of the proceeds of the sale of the artwork. (Note: Based on the fair-market value set by the artist, a minimum bid of 50% is required to open bidding.) ANITA STREET BEACH ACCESS: $1,000 will be awarded to up to three artists or artist teams to develop and submit a proposal. The artist or team with the selected proposal will receive $30,000 to complete the project.

• The Beverly Hills Art Show - 2025

The Art Show is held the third weekend of May and October in Beverly Gardens Park in the City of Beverly Hills. Each show a new, independent panel of fine art professionals is chosen to jury the pool of applicants.

Entry: Each artist may submit a minimum of 3 images for a non-refundable fee of $28. Up to 7 additional images may be submitted for an additional $5 per image; for a total maximum total of 10 images.
Eligibility: Open to all Southern California resident artists: from the northern boundary of San Louis Obispo/Kern/San Bernardino to Southern counties of San Diego/Imperial and all counties in between.

The Quick Grant program awards up to $600 to California artists, creatives, cultural practitioners, cultural producers, and San Francisco/San Jose nonprofit arts administrators to participate in professional development activities that build administrative capacity, hone business skills, and strengthen the financial resilience of the grantee’s practice, area of cultural production, or arts organization.

The Mare Island Artyard sculpture exhibition are currently planning our 5th year of art installations that will be on public display from mid-May 2025 through mid-May 2026 on Mare Island in Vallejo, CA. The Mare Island Artyard are seeking art that is contemporary, imaginative, and suitable for a very broad general public. Local Edition will be selecting six (6) self-standing installations.

The District is seeking SOQs to create a pool of qualified artists to provide the design, creation, and installation
of a prominent public art project on the exterior façade of the new Performance Art Center. For this project, CAPS is specifically seeking the design, creation, and installation of a prominent public art
project on the exterior façade of the new Performance Art Center. This public art installation may be created
from any materials of the artist’s, or artist team’s, choosing that can endure complete exposure to the elements.
Both two-dimensional and three-dimensional elements are feasible, along with electrical lighting, neon signage,
sound features, landscaping elements, and/or other interactive components.
• Crocker Art Museum Art Auction Season 2025 – Sacramento (no fee)

Art Auction includes the online Silent Auction and the in-person Live Auction on Saturday, June 7. Works are included in the Art Auction exhibition that will be on view in the Museum from May 15 – June , as well as the Art Auction catalogue, and artists may choose to keep up to 50% of the proceeds of the sale of the artwork. (Note: Based on the fair-market value set by the artist, a minimum bid of 50% is required to open bidding.) Up to three finished works may be submitted for consideration, but only one work may be accepted.
